Although the Isle of Barra is the Midnight Rose’s homeport, this in no way restricts where we embark or disembark on your bespoke charter. However, Brian and Roddy believe there is no better starting point than the Island of Barra. As Capt. R. MacLeod says, “beginning in Barra leaves us with several passage options regarding local weather and wave patterns, the only problem we have is ending the cruise with somewhere as equally stunning as a backdrop.”
Barra, commonly referred to as The Jewel of the Isles, hosts the only commercial runway in the world that is washed away by the tide twice daily. This unique attraction draws thousands of tourists every year.
If travelling to Barra then why not consider a private charter plane from Glasgow, again we can build this into your bespoke package. Furthermore, we would also include complimentary transfers in one of our luxury vehicles.
With the Western Isles housing several whisky distilleries, why not indulge in a ‘Grand Tour’ of your personal favourites with friends or family?
